Hi! I just purchased my first Hedgehog about a week ago. She is a friendly and frisky female who loves to climb on me. Your site has been an excellent reference. Thank you!

I owned a hedgehog for 3 years and am now interested in breeding. How do you recommend that I start?

Emily,
It's Kati, Lisa's daughter. I have a website about our hedgehog you gave us, she sticks with the name Babie. She's famous! I did a project about "The Effect of Bathing", by bathing her and seeing how much she ran. She won 1st prize at my school science fair, and grand prize at the county fair. Now, we are going to regionals. I also have a site called www.webs/hedgehogs--rock.com. Check it out. I have question though. How many miles do wild hedgehogs run every night? By the way, LOVE THE SITE!

I love your website. I am sure i will return often to read. I have collected hedgehog figurines since my visit to England in 2000. I inherited a hedgehog when my mother in law passed away. She received it from the Snap-On man after his daughter decided she wasnt impressed with it. It was NOT very friendly as it was never held but she passed away about 5 years ago. My daughter recently bought me a baby hedgehog. His name is Burget. He was born in September and I have had him for about a month and spend a lot of my spare time lookign for hedgehog sites to learn more about what I need and what I need to do for him. Thanks for your information.

Very informative site. My daughter is very interested, and I wanted to learn. They are so adorable and appear to be an ecellant pet choice.
